This year’s meeting will feature a presentation by guest speaker Nader Beyzaei, adjunct professor with UBC’s Sauder School of Business, who will discuss “What artificial intelligence is... and, just as importantly, what it isn’t.” Nader is a self-admitted “AI geek” who delights in sharing his passion for the topic with others. He will explain how AI works and describe scenarios for harnessing AI in maritime operations.  After his presentation Nader will be available for Q&A.
